Q: What is the main differences between the 3 different trolleys available?

Masterlink Trolley Used when additional headroom or clearance isn't an issue. Convenience of a large opening for the attachment of a hoist is preferred. Allows multiple trolleys to be attached to the beam after the system has been fully assembled. Can be locked in position on the beam. Close Coupled Trolley Used when additional headroom or clearance is needed below the beam. Allows multiple trolleys to be attached to the beam after the system has been fully assembled. Sheave Carrier Enables the use of winches or retrieval fall arrest devices. Detachable design and can incorporate either one or two pulley wheels to act as guides for cable or ropes.

Sheave Can be retrospectively fitted to the Porta-Gantry® Rapide enabling winches or retrieval fall arrest devices to be attached to the trap plate or upright of the gantry A-frame. Winch Brackets Can be attached to the trap plates or to the upright of the gantry A-frame, depending on the winch and its orientation. Reid Lifting also offer a wide range of winch brackets for common goods and personnel and retrieval fall arrest devices.

Description

The unique and innovative Porta-Gantry Rapide® from Reid Lifting is a height-adjustable, foldable aluminium gantry designed for rapid deployment. Capable of an impressive WLL of up to 1000kg, this lifting system can be assembled and disassembled by just one person in 60 seconds without the need for any additional tools.

The ability to lift both equipment and personnel make Porta-Gantry Rapide the perfect solution for confined space access, rescue, working at height, and entry lifting scenarios. Its patented design features folding frame with integrated wheels for ease of transportation under any circumstances.

ATEX-rated gantry frame range

Thanks to its bespoke design and anodised frame, the entire Rapide range boasts a Zone 2 ATEX certification, along with EN795:2012 and IRATA accreditations all as standard.

The Porta-Gantry Rapide® range is available in a number of configurations and can be further customised with additional accessories depending on your specific requirements.

How to select gantry that fits your needs

Decide on your required Working Load Limit (WLL) and any personnel lifting needs
Choose the appropriate maximum height - this is usually measured from the ground to the frame's lifting eye
Choose the beam length, up to 4 metres as standard on the Rapide range
Finally, decide on any additional accessories required for your application
