Local residents given early Christmas present

Local residents given early Christmas present

Local residents of Inverurie housing development Osprey Heights were left fending for themselves in icy conditions as they feared for their safety!

Thanks to the aid of Safetrade 247, they will no longer have to brave these conditions alone.

Safetrade 247 has kindly donated 10 grit bins full with white de-icing salt for the local residents to keep the roads gritted and safe to use.

Osprey Heights resident Phil Buchan said:

"After being let down by local house builder with regards to a simple safety feature of supplying grit bins to the residence because the development is still under construction they cannot had over the roads to the council. Leaving the cost of new grit bins dumped on the residents last minute with no prior warning.... I’m delighted to thank Thomas Innes from Safetrade 247 for supplying the estate with grit bins and salt FREE OF CHARGE!!! Not only that... but supplying the shovels for spreading it AND padlocks for them too!!! Fully kitted out!!! How simply amazing is that???!!!!! An amazing act of generosity and it’s amazing to have a local company step forward and help in such a massive way!!!!! Thank you again!! I’m looking forward to getting the bins and grit to help keep our residents safe!!!!!"
